Imam Khomeini International University in Qazvin is one of the most prestigious public universities in Iran. Every year, this university accepts new students at all academic levels, both Iranian and international. Imam Khomeini International University is an educational institution affiliated with the Ministry of Science, which began its activities in 1983 under the name Quds International University in the city of Qazvin.

In 1991, it merged with the Dehkhoda Educational Complex and officially continued its activities under the name Imam Khomeini International University. This university publishes 10 specialized journals and has printed 7,590 scientific articles. International students can gain admission to Imam Khomeini International University (RA) through various avenues. These include scholarships offered by the Iranian government (Type A: free education + scholarship and Type B: free education), admission based on national exams for non-Iranian residents in Iran (with partial tuition fees), and university-based scholarships for talented students. Alternatively, international students can also choose to self-fund their education by paying full tuition and welfare fees. 

General admission requirements include non-Iranian citizenship, a valid health certificate, and the necessary academic qualifications. Educational certificates must be translated and approved by Iranian authorities. The admission process involves initial acceptance following online registration and review, followed by final registration upon obtaining a study visa and commencing studies at the university. Required documents for application include the last educational certificate and transcripts, a valid passport, a medical certificate, and academic recommendation letters (especially for PhD applicants).

• Begin by registering on the university's International Student Admission System
• Check your confirmation email for an activation link and use it to log in to your user profile.
• Submit your application and upload all necessary documents electronically.
• Once finalized, the system will provide you with an application code.
• Submit your application with the code to the university's admission council for review. Upon approval, you'll receive a preliminary acceptance certificate.
• The university will confirm your application status through the Saorg system, and you'll be notified.
• Once confirmed, send your documents electronically to the university for them to process your educational visa.
• After receiving a visa receipt from the university, visit the Iranian embassy to finalize your educational visa.
• Finally, visit the university in person to complete your registration.

Imam Khomeini International University Tuition Fees

Tuition fees for non-scholarship students and language learners at Imam Khomeini International University vary by degree level and academic group. For Humanities and Social Sciences, PhD students pay 600 Euros per semester, Masters students pay 350 Euros, and Bachelors students pay 250 Euros. 

For other educational groups, the fees are 500 Euros for PhD, 300 Euros for Masters, and 200 Euros for Bachelors. Welfare tuition fees for single dormitory accommodation are 400 Euros per semester, and for married dormitory accommodation, they are 200 Euros per semester. All fees are based on the Euro equivalent in Iranian Rial. It's important to note that scholarship students are exempt from Persian language course fees, and students who fail language courses are required to pay tuition fees.
